I have a 05 f-250 non fx4 package. I have a leveling kit with 4" rear block. Ill have a snowex 8500 v box in the back loaded with salt. I want to do the helper spring. I dont really wanna raise the back, but to not have it sag when loaded. What do you guys think?

I'm about to be in the same situation, I was thinking about adding air bags.

I kind of like that firestone kit. Does it replace the block then?

Airbags it is. Do I really need the $200 air tank with guage? It says its not required so how do you fill them up without the compresser?

With out the on board compressor and tank, you just fill them up with any other compressor just like you are filling a tire. They have a hose and valve and you just fill it up to your desired pressure.

The only downfall is that you can't do any "on the fly" adjustments.

I have Firestones on my both of my trucks. The 99 has the compressor mounted under the tool box and the gauge and switch are mounted in the box. Easy to make adjustments as needed and makes towing a trailer a dream.
