Trying to put a E-60 pump together.Have the new motor base plate but the back of the plate is hitting the pump and not seating flush.Should I grind a little off the hump on the back of the plate,or do I have the pump in wrong.

you might want to check your motor i knwo some of the aftermarket motors didnt always fit flush and always had to modify (grinding or whatever) to make them work or call a dealer and double check your part#s cause their is a few different e60 pump rebuild kits.
