rates for renting a skid steer

    Does anyone have experience with a seasonal rentals of a skid steer and or a v plow and snow blower for the same?

    I am considering it after this weekend and I have got people asking me about sidewalks now.


    so far this year 45" of snow and it is still the first half of November!

    Bobcat rates in my area:

    Snow Contract Rental Rate for 2002 Snow season:

    3 month contract 120 total on bobcat

    753 $2227.50

    763 $2295.00

    773 $2362.50

    863 $2632.50

    873 $2835.00

    963 $3375.00

    The above if for 3 months rental contract.

    Another Option

    Check with a couple of local excavators. Around here, some of them are not into plowing, and are willing to rent / lease equipment in the winter to make up for not digging. If you can't find anybody over there, let me know and I can get you a couple names & numbers.

    That would be great Andy, believe it or not I only know of 2 other skid steers in town.
