rates for operators?

    what do you guys pay your skid steer operators?

    Well that depends on the work. I pay my operators $16 in the summer and in the winter it is $20 because of the hours.

    guess it depends on the the amount of hours offered, You should have an idea how many for a normal season, Most people would rather sit home and get a steady check than the other

    One of the guys at our boat shop makes $20/hr driving another companies skid steer moving snow.

    $60-65 with skid and $15-20 without skid

    " operator " with common sence 15-20

    Operator with experience 20-25

    all depends on your thought of a skilled operator

    I have a skid steer driver that I pay $45.00 a hour. Worth every penny. He is a great driver. Never had a complaint from a customer. Never has to be told when to show up. Goes above and beyond. Maintains the the skid steer. Just a great employee. Wish they were all like that. He subs out his dad to do the walkways.

    7+ years experience heavy machinery operations, as in that is your full time job.

    I don't think you can put a number of years on experience. I know guys who have run equipment 20 years and cant even come close to guys who have run them 3 or 4. Every person is different. Anyway around here 30-40+ an hour is operator rate

    I only have 1 operator, he is good, on time etc etc. I pay him 30 an hour

    no but there ignorance lasts one night and then they are let go.
