Hi trying to fix our western snow plow while my dad is out of town. During plowing today the right hand ram bent and cracked i am in the process of replacing it without instructions of course and need to know, Do I need to fill the new ram with hydraulic fluid before installing it?

thanks and any advise would be helpful

you dont need to but you can. just put it on and angle it with the plow down. fill with fluid, lift and angle some more. fill again and plow.
