have had it happen 2 times now, when you raise the plow all the way up it is coming up to high breaking the cylinder cover. It does not do this all the time, once last year and again this year. I have had no luck finding what may be causing the problem so any ideas will help

    Which pump? E47...E57...E58...E60?

Top cap breakage issues are generally the result of two things. Either the pump pressure is set too high, or the lift arm is contacting the back side of the blade during stacking maneuvers.

the pump is too close to the lift arm pivot point. you need to mount it in the hole closest to the lift chain, and the problem of contact with the life frame breaking the pump cap will magically disappear.
