I have an old F-800 with an 8.2 Detroit that needs a heater core. Are they the same as a standard F-350 series?

Ooops, most important info. 1987. From what I was told there are 3 or 4 different cores. The model I have is extremely basic. Former municipal truck. Does'nt even have a radio.

Might see if they list the dimensions in the computers at parts stores. Or pick their brains at Ford then see if you can find it cheaper elsewhere. Ford tends to stick with systems and their parts for many, many years.
