On our Bobcat, we have a blade with hydraulic left/right actuation, and it has removeable wings. The problem is these wings get bent up all the time. They are 3/8th or so thick. Does anyone have any practical reinforcement advice? We have a welding rig and all that, and I have recomended welding a second layer of steel to stiffen them up, but the boss insists it wouldn't work, and they are already very heavy, addition layering would make them back breaking.

And yes, I do understand that not running into things helps a lot, but I am not the one who operates it. They don't get bent when I operate it, I avoid running into curbs and such.
