Question about salt brine.

    I have never heard about salt brine untim ablout 10 minutes ago. Is it used in place of rock salt or is it just for anti-ice procedures??:confused:

    I have used liquids in many ways but never brine specifically, lots of guys use brine to pre-wet their salt the county here actually sprays it on the busy roads before they expect weather it helps to hold off accumulation for a little while and also helps prevent the bond between pavement and ice.
