I pulled trigger last week and got it home last night installed, 9-2 pwr vxt in poly
Im really impressed with it. Very professional looking.
I have one glich, one hydraulic line is weeping ever so slightly, where line goes into smartlock cylinder.Must be fitting on end of hose. Dealer (2hrs away)said no problem well put a new one in the mail for ya today with a quart of fluid to top off,no need to send leaky one back, told me to keep for an emergency. All i need is snow to show it off.Does anyone recommend using teflon tape on those fittings, dealer didnt, Boss told them it could get in hydraulic fluid.Anyone use it their hose ends?

    Thanks,im anxious also.
I hate hydraulic leaks,if it leaks again i may use the paste form teflon tape,or ask for a new smartie cylinder. I refuse to have a new plow and let it leak. Its so minute, but i wont let it go.My experience with leaks are they never get better with time, only worse.

I have a new 8'2" Poly VXT and my son just bought the same plow and we love them. Poly is the only way to go in our opinion !!! It always looks new.

You need to make sure the poly is not stored outside. The poly will fade after a few years and not look like new anymore.
