Try taking the other coupler off and running it without any in line and see if that helps. Couplers can be a PITA if you get the wrong ones. Just went through 3 sets from NAPA on a install, took all 3 back and went to the place i should have in the first place (they werent open at the time) and picked up some good ball type couplers and no problems.

when it doesn't work does the motor run? if not does the solenoid click? if the cyl was bad it wouldn't stay up.

were did you get the couplers crash?

Where do you think i got them, the only place in town, Billy Bobs Porn and Plow Parts Emporium.

I tried to find info on your pump, thought with the B series # that it migh be a Barnes but no luck. I know its not a Monarch, what brand of plow is this on or do you have any other info on the pump.

Thats easy then, Just up and down functions on the pump? Valves under black plastic cover on end of pump or mid way down on the outside? If they are under the cover take the cover off and how many valves/coils, same if external? Get me the right answers and ill get you to the parts breakdown for the pump.

Did you try it without any couplers inline? The meyer ones are the ones i usally have problems with, they use a pin type union and are usually chinese and the tolerances SUCK!

bad washer just a little reamed out. so it would shift sideways and lock up the cylinder
just put a new seal kit in
