This is normal, is this an ultramount?
If yes....And you have a handheld controller you can program the "soft stop" feature.

If it's the current fleet flex you can program soft stop.
But, I'm guessing it's an older plow with a 6 pin controller, and I bet the control is a joystick, and not a handheld.
    Am I right?

Ok, then it's not programmable, and wasn't available. However if you get a 6 pin hand held control, it would have soft stop on it. It's still not programmable, (you can't turn it off) but it would have it.
So, some day if you need to replace your control anyway, now you know if you change to handheld that you'd have that. Or maybe you find a good deal on one, or want to buy one and keep your joystick for a spare, or whatever.

How much can you move the plow by hand. The banging get worse as pins wear.

Cylinders only allow plow to move by hand
Maybe 1" all new hoses.New angle cylinders
    Rest of plowlooks good.

    sounds normal.

if it went slowly and stopped softly you would be complaining about that when it came time to plow.
