Just got my wings from eq. specialists and did search for some install tips but have some ques. still. Plow is 8' mm2 and wings are buyers pro wings. Plow does not have much time on it so I was going to wear down blade some before putting edge on like I have always done but wings say to have new or near new edge on before install. I figured it would not matter too much but any advise is appreciated. Also I saw in some pics of install on fishers people keep edge from wing off of trip edge, not overlapped like directions show, some also say trip edge caused rubber to tear off? I was going to install per directions but if I should do otherwise please tell me. Otherwise I am looking forward to trying these suckers out!

Just follow the instructions but don't overlap the rubber, it will tear. Find the biggest washers you can find for the rubber and don't tighten the bolts too much; snug is good. I used locknuts anywhere possible including the brackets and lockwashers on the rubber. The rubber will tear eventually so have a spare set on hand. Where in CT are you?

Thanks for the reply, I am in Tolland. I read that if you dont overlap the plow edge with the wing edge that it folds back. Has anyone run into this?
