i'm new to the site. it's pretty addictive for anyone who loves to push snow...I have a solenoid pak off a 1998 8' plow that turned into swiss cheese a few years ago. I bought a used plow that fit my needs and stripped & stored the power pak for possible future use. Today I sold the plow set up so I no longer need the power pak since all my other plows are mm 2's. Does anyone know how much a new power pak goes for and/or what a fair price would be for this used one in good condition? Thanks for the :help:

I could use a spare too. When was the last time it was used? Did it work then?

I called a fisher dealer & they said a new one goes for $1200..Yikes... I havent used it in 2 years but it was working fine when i stripped it down..& its been stored inside. $400 would probably be what i'd advertise it for & i'd stand behind it if for some reason it needs anything.

Does anyone know if these units are all the same regardless of plow size? Would a SEHP from 6-7ft be the same as a 7.5ft and up? I imagine the lift cylinder is a different size but can they be swapped around?

No, they come in a few sizes; 6" & 10". That appears to be the 10" at 1750psi pump.

To answer your question I recently found a NEW one for $300, as you may know they go for over a $1K retail.

So basically the 10" one was used on 7.5' plows and larger?

I believe so. I have only dealt with 8' and above and they have all had them.

I bought a whole headgear and lift triangle with the sehp pump. It was off a 8' that got scrapped. I got the whole upper unit for 200

CL or Ebay mostly. Nothing better to do when I'm having an insomniac moment.

Mine too, he wants to convert from a Speed cast to a MM.
