Hello anyone with ideas for power adders to keep volts and amps higher. HAS anyone ever tried capaciters between the plow motor and battery to keep voltage and amps from pulling down the factory charge set up. How about deep cycle batterys any advantage to them. I have a 105 amp alternator, two batterys, and 2gauge grounds and power wires. The unimount western is my own 3years old.I work in a lot all night it seems these unimounts just hog the power. The spec book says the western motor swallows 200amps in operation. Are these unimounts just old technology? I operated a boss plow on another chevy truck and the plow seemed to operate effortlessly on the stock charge system.
