What's up guys. My Boss was starting to chip and I had to replace the cutting edges so I thought why not get it powder coated...black. It's growing on me. I still obviously need to put the cutting edges on but I snapped a couple quick ones with my phone after I got it back together.

Can I ask what that cost, you can PM me if you want. I've thought about doing my old Boss V some other color than red. You got the whole Mad Max vibe goin there, turned out good.

$375 with me taking it apart obviously. $150 per wing then $75 for the middle section.

That looks pretty cool I didn't know they were starting to make them black!

I do but not the set that's on my truck now. With the offset of those wheels they stick out a bit too far and like to rub with the weight of the plow, I have a different set with different wheels I use for winter.

That's not bad at all. The taking it apart would suck, but the end result is the plow looks new.

Really wasn't terrible. I did it myself. The worst part is getting the wings and everything to line up to get bolts in or out. I put it back together in probably an hour. I might have to replace some springs so everything is shiny now haha.

You know how I feel about it :)

Did they blast all the red off it before they did the black?

I asked and the guy said it would have taken him hours to do that. So he said he blasted all the spots with rust instead. Not sure how I feel about that or not.

Yeah only time will tell. The thing I would worry about is the red wearing through. Against the black it will be very obvious.
