Our driver was watering the road, he was backing up a small hill 100ft (steep) the truck was full of water & in low range. A car approached while backing up, so he pushed in the clutch in and rolled down the hill (forward while in reverse) then a pop was heard.
Now the truck has do drive.
After looking at the truck, it is possible to shift gears while it’s running with out the clutch! I’m thinking something is wrong with the clutch itself.
Am I correct with this assumption?

sound's like you might of snapped the input shaft. if something happened to the clutch it would always engage and stay engaged, unless the pressure plate took a crap.  :salute:

Teach your driver where the brake is and inform him that it works WITH the clutch.
