I'm new to plowing and was wandering if a Polymer Wear strip is a good idea. I'm planing on doing mostly residential driveways. Will the steal cutting edge scrape up asphalt and interlock drives?

    Thanks

For what you plan on plowing I suggest the poly cutting edge.

Poly will run quieter, do less damage and last as long or longer then steel.

Does it clear snow and ice the same as steel?

If you can move it with poly you need material,

Steel will attack thick ice better then poly but not with out the possibility of damaging pavers, sealed pavement, etc...

Life is a series of compromises

What is the cost for a 90"polymer cutting edge kit from sno way? I found a universal 90" polymer cutting edge for $150, needs holes drilled.
