Im thinking of buying a spreader for this year. Just looking for peoples views on the poly or steel spreaders. Looking at the fisher/western polycaster or a fisher steel Or another that any one would recommend.

All around it's hard to beat a saltdogg poly/electric in bed.

What kind of a budget are you looking at?

If new talk to parts for trucks they are your fisher dealer or ocean equipment they deal with diamond/boss and a few other lines and compare prices

Most important thing is get a feel for the dealer, parts and support and the biggest selling points in any deal if they give you a bad vibe look elsewhere

    Agree 1000%

I have had good luck with the PolyCaster. If you do go metal, get the stainless. Plus the new PolyCasters have two motors. Sweet.
