    I just received my copy of the book, Plowing With The Storm. I'm going to start reading it tonite. I will let you all now how it is when I get done reading it.

    oh ok, i didn't know if something in the book was wrong or something? can't add too much punctuation or smiley's to get my point across on my blackberry! Mercer and I were asking about the book recently in the discussion with Fisher reps and that's why he posted the new thread about it

    All kidding aside, it is a very interesting book to read if you have an interest in snow removal equipment. Plus there are some great pictures.:nod:

    I read the 1st chapter last nite and it's very interesting so far. Going to read the 2nd chapter tonite.

    i think its about history of fisher snow plows ?

    i emailed them and they sent one out yesterday for me cant wait to get it and read it :bluebounc

    Just remember it was written by people employed or hired by Fisher. In other words it is basically a corporate release of their history. Very little is discussed about people leaving to form Diamond in the 70s after Fisher dismissed their idea for a V-plow. (Diamond would then be the first to produce a working multi-position plow) Other decisions which have been discussed here and in other places are also glazed over. The book was originally published 10 years ago to there is no mention of MM2, XBlades, Wideouts, etc.
