Discussion in 'Ram Trucks' started by snowman91, Sep 27, 2007.

  1. is it hard to plow with a ram 2500 quad cab with an 8' bed or is the short bed better?

depends on what your plowing i suppose, parking lots and crap no problem, small driveways, your gonna struggle with the size of the truck, its just a big long truck not to mention the extra few feet added with the plow on.

With my salter and plow on mine is 33 1/2 feet long.

Try not to get in to many tight spots if you can avoid it.

I plow with my 04.5 2500 Quad Cab/Long Bed and it is tough to manuever, but if your careful, you should be fine.

more details needed - what are you plowing?
Big, open lots, apartment complex, residential - urban, rural,???

I think you already know you're going to have problems, and where you're going to have problems.
  9. parking lots of all sizes, apartment complex, and a few driveways just the front and curb mabe like 3 of them
