anyone else out there using 2-door tahoes to plow with?

what plows are you running? any helper springs? how are they holding up?

just got a 99 with the 6.5td for tight areas instead of the one tons and need some help getting it set up.

    thanks

    Welcome to Plowsite.

It can be used for light plowing, but be careful on plow selection as you are already nose heavy with the diesel.

Timbren's,and maybe a twist or two on the torsion bars would really help keep the front end up.

matt-max maybe a meyer plow :( would be good for it since they are pretty light. Or if ya want a better more reliable plow get a Western or Fisher maybe. Let us know how you make out.BTW welcome to Plowsite:waving:

    thanks for the info

i've actually been a member for quite a while but not posted previously.

we run western pro plows with pro wings on gmc sierras (8 trucks) and flink spreaders

i bought the tahoe because of the tight turning radius for smaller spots.

i'll check out the timbrens too

    thanks
