Plowing Below Zero

    Whats the lowest air temp could we use our sno-way plows 20,30,40, below zero?

    Depends on the fluid and whether you can keep the truck running

    I have plowed with my Western @ -35F, it has lifted at -45F, like it has been said, if you get the truck started it will plow.

    It was 25 below and mine worked very well. Of course it was slow at first but after 30 mins use it was working fine.

    At what Temp do you become concerned about objects breaking the blade? I see alot of the snow way clear blades out here and worry about plowing at a low temp and having it break after slapping a curb a little to hard.
