What's next ?, it's challenging enough to deal with snow, freezing rain, drifting snow etc. Now we have to rise to challenge and deal with the evil vortex. (so far so good for me,3 cups of joe, gas fireplace on, wrapped tight in my afghan)

Am I correct that the folks north of the border in the great white north deal with this on a daily basis ???

I really don't see the big deal, but then again, I haven't gone outside yet today...:blush2:

It's cold outside. Big deal. I haven't done nothing different because of it. I have a fire going in the wood stove in the garage and the heat is on in the house. The schools are closed here by me. I can't for the life of me understand why they close schools because it's cold outside. The kids get on the bus, the bus drops them at the school, they walk in and wala, they are being educated.

That picture looks like some kind of villain creature from The Power Rangers. You're not still playing with them are you? :D

An important area to remember is eating enough to strenghten your defenses against the vortex. This morning was one of my best efforts, leftover pulled pork fried in olive oil with leftover potatoe/onion pierogies with a couple over med eggs ! I'm good to go!:yow!:
