I just got a new cuircut board for my control pad and my plow will raise, go right, go left.
When I hit the float the plow drops but doesnt go completly to the ground (6inches above) The chains are completly relaxed and I have played with the "quill" and changed the fluid with no results.
    Anyone have a suggestion?

Is is it an ultramount or unimount. I just bought an ultramount, it wasn't going all the way down. Just oiled all the parts that allow it to pivot at the mount and it freed up.

If there is slack in the chain, then it has nothing to do with the hydraulics or electrical.

Are you sure the 'foot' is not down?

kmac it is a 2006 plow and I took your advice and oiled , going to let it sit overnight.
Homer i mean Mr.Plow yes the chain is relaxed, the feet are up and it has a new switch box and new solenoid. The plow was Idle for one year so I took kmac's advice.
    Thanks
    Guys

There is a bolt in the center at the back. Make sure you get both sides and in the middle where the two sections come together.

Hi. I just bought a 9" western ultramount and it won't drop either. Mine is in the pump or something tho. The control says float but it don't do anything. Left, right and up are fine but not down. Any suggestions for me? Thanks Travis

Mine ended up being a combo of a stuck bolt on the back bar and when I changed the fluid I put to much in so I had hydraulic lock.
