plow wings

    what is a good set of plow wings for a 8' fisher plow

    I don't know about good per-say.....the only ones I know of are the Buyer's Pro Wings.

    The pro wings are great. You gotta do some fab work to fit them though

    Oh ok, yeah I expected that. I thought there was something that had to be welded or something.

    Got me a pair (as you already know Ryan). Basically stole them since they were missing 1 cutting edge.

    what is a good price for a set of pro wings ???

    is $180.00 a good price for 1 set of pro wings ?????

    That's what they typically go for $185 - $250

    I love that drivers side plow light !!!! And keep us posted how they work in a couple of feet of wet spring snow! Just joking........
    I am going to snag a set of them for my tractor plow but just wished they made them with the side a little higher so it joined up at the top corner of a Fisher plow like it should ???? I guess the original design was for a moldboard that is considerable shorter in height as I think I saw a set on a little Myers plow and they came out perfect on that moldboard. I notice when they advertise them they set right and meet the top corners so they must take the pictures with a smaller plows???? Not sure unless they have more models and some are taller???
    Your moldboard looks like that old girl; has seen some snowstorms since it left Rockland????

    yes it has seen some snow it is still going strong it was belt driven hydraulics.
    last fall i put in a Haldex 12 Volt DC Snowplow Unit works good
