I got my new to me Model 25 Snow Way installed on my truck but the plow will not raise. The plow angles left and right but no lift. I looked at manual for the power unit and tryed to figure out which are the hydraulic solenoids to pull out and see if they are stuck. Any other ideas on what and how to checki?

Here is a link to the Fenner repair manual for the power unit on your snowplow. It will give you detailed information.

That plow should default to raise, use the manuals Toby sent you the link for and Identify the Lower valve it's probably stuck open.

Could the switch on the pump cover effect the plow going up? When that switch is in the off position and dp position the pump motor will still run. When pushing up on the switch to the raise position nothing happens.

The switch on the pump cover is for the jackstand operation. It does need to be in the proper position for all plow functions to operate as normal. Here is a link to the jackstand installation and operation manual.
