Plow will not lower

    Have an ultramount. Will move left, right and up but no down. Any suggestions? cartridge valves sticking?

    fallen up and get down

    check westerns web site ,but it say's wrong oil for the temp ,quill adjusted in to far ,cartridge valve coil's not working properly ,cartridge valve's contaminated + sticking ,cartridge valve's damaged .

    oil is the same as when it did work. Haven't touched the quill adjustment. Im thinking cartridge valve sticking od dirty. any body else?

    Start with checking the S1 coil for magnetizem with the controller in the lower/float position. This will tell you if the signals getting to the coil. If it does have it, pull the valve out and see if you can push it in with a small screwdriver..

    If it doesn't have magnatizem, start checking connections from the controller to the coil.

    The S1 coil is the one with the white/yellow wire.

    Be very careful when doing this test as the blade could drop unexpectedly!
