I have a 2002 suburban 1500 that has reached the end of its current life as a family hauler and was thinking of using it as a plow vehicle for mostly my long driveway. Any suggestions on economical plow set up??

Any 7.5 foot blade of your choice or a Snowbear.

Ditto this, but also remember that you can get complete used setups on Craigslist. No need to buy brand new for a single driveway no matter how long it is!

Thanks. Do I need to beef up the front end at all?

Not for a 7.5 straight blade. Your Suburban is a regular half ton truck that will handle it just fine.

Nope. Your truck won't even notice if you never drive around with it on besides in the driveway.

You can get a good used set up on CL for sure.
