    I just got a small commercial lot approx. 100' x 60'
With side walks. One long sidewalk in front and an entranceway 40' x 6'.
I have the plowing priced but what should i charge for salting?
I'm using 50# bags & a push spreader for this lot.
    Bags are $5.00

Just an idea of where to start - Charge by the bag. 2 1/2 to 3 times your cost if you're salting only the sidewalks. Then after awhile, get an idea of how many bags it'll take for a heavy application and charge by the application. Then you'll make more with lighter applications but for them the result is the same. Plus, then you could start using a treated salt and increase profits.
