hey I just installed a 8ft speed cast on my 92gmc but it is real low, like I am lucky I can even get a piece of paper under the pushplate when plow is lift,it was off a ford I make bracket to bolt on the chev, any ideas on how to get height,I was going to move the pushbeam up and cut some meat off the bottom of the pushplates cuz they seem they are lower thean other, any ideas?

Can you post a pic? I'd say you seriously mis-measured if you can't even get the push plates off the ground- but a pic would help!

all I did was use 2 flat plates 1/4 inch welded to the pushplates and bolted were tow hooks went,so I might have to try and move pushbeam up and cut some of the pushplates off the bottom and raise torsion bars if they don't break
