I have an old fisher cable operated plow for my 83 cj7. the problem is that when I pull the cable to lift the plow it does nothing, but when I pull the cable to angle the plow it angles and raises at the same time . Are my cables out of adjustment or is there something wrong with the valve body? Are both valve plungers supposed to spring back to neutral position both ways? I have ran the valve body without the cables, same result.

Seems like a rash of cable problems on plowsite lately. To eliminate a cable problem go straight to the pump body where it is secured to. Is it iced up. Try moving the levers there by hand, does it respond better. You might havta take a cover off
