How can I tell if a used truck has a plow prep package? the sticker in the glovebox seems confusing and the curent owner is quite clueless. this is a 98 chevy 2500 4x4 any thoughts?

I think that most plow prep has a package or code that you might see in the clove box plus it will have another set of coolers on the front fro trany.

Also you could look and see if your truck have a large alternator, something around 130 amps. But this does not always mean it comes with snow prep. It could be a separate option when building truck. Usually most trucks that have large alternator have snow prep package.
