wondering whats the best position to have my plow in while traveling so I can have some air flow going to the grill to my truck so it doesn't over heat I have a 7 1/2 foot fisher hd straight blade thanks in advance for the advise and tips

We always keep them to the left, thats to me gets the most airflow. And thats the way my dad told me to do incase a car goes head on with you, it can slide left instead if you were in straight. But I dont plan on finding out if that actually works lol

I was trying to see if cars would hit me when angled that way

I've wondered it myself, and I'm torn.
Left or Right should be slightly more aerodynamic, but they could push the vehicle around a bit. (possibly only a real concern for people like me with "light" vehicles?) also with it angled the width is lower... 6'8" (same as the jeep) vs. 7'4" wide. not a huge difference but it might make a difference?
straight should be better for control at travel speeds, but suck worse for aerodynamics.

Maybe one of these days I'll have to drive at speed with the thing on. :D

Ok now I'll be serious. For those of you asking how about you try different positions and see what works? How do you think we all learned?

I think they all got deleted. Turned into chain vers direct lift airflow to weight to bounce to tire to speed to road to color to bird vers bear type thread

    Must have, sounds interesting too.

I prefer to drive on asphalt as opposed to concrete also dirt over stone but thats just me.
