The truck starts to stall or the plow stalls?

Seems to me like a weak battery on the truck. Can you hear the motor running when you hit the controller?

Id give a tap on the motor. Just a TAP, not a smack. My plow wouldn't work and it would drag the truck down dimming all the lights. I had my dad hop in the truck and try to raise it while I gave it a tap. My guess is the brushes are a tad froze up on the motor.

Sounds to me like you might need a new solenoid under the hood. Are all connections tight?

My plow only clicked aswell before tapping it. Id look strongly at the motor if its drawing a lot of amps

Use a test light or a volt meter let's not guess if it has 12 volts to the motor and a ground it's a motor if It has 2 volts to the motor it's a solenoid or a battery cable
