plow idea for a f650

    we are thinking about buying a f650 and it has a salter in it but no blade. but anybody have a idea on what blade? and what size?

    You will want at least a 10 foot blade on that truck. Best bet is to find an older city or county plow for it.

    i used to plow with one, we had a 10' flink on it.

    A local boss dealer has a 10' v on there's although I think it's a 750.

    10' heavy weight blade, anything less is to small for that size truck

    Fisher MC 10', Meyer RoadPro 10', Assaloni TN 10' or 11'. All three can be set up to run off the trucks hydraulics. The first two can run off their own electric/ hydraulic.

    You would be crazy not to look at a blizzard those plows are awesome, Our parent company has the blizzard power plows on all their big trucks

    Have a 10' Boss straight blade with central hydro's on our 6500.

    4 way 10 ft would be nice. Highway plows not very versatile

    What are you looking for, an expandable wing, a V plow, or a straight?

    most likely a straight cause it will be a salt truck but will need to cleanup lots if it has to

    If it were my truck, I would put a Boss V on it just because it isn't that much more expensive over a straight, and when you V it up, it gives it a smaller profile when traveling down the road. A straight would work as well but if it were mine and I was really serious about doing some massive plowing with it, I would have an 8611.

    My vote? Boss V or 8611.
