What brand & type plow would you think would work best on this truck. The only company the makes a mount for this truck is Snoway.

We would prefer to go with a used plow and fab a mount for it. Not sure how well it will plow. I have heard allot of good things about how these trucks plow and a few bad.

Dont want to throw allot of money at it to find out it sucks plowing.

I know someone that plows with one. He puts chains on it and a V box in the back and he says it plows great. The tight turning radius is great. He has a western (contractor blade I think) on his.

We had an Isuzu at 1 time. It was a ' 94. It plowed OK w/ weight. It was diesel w/ ALOT of miles.
We put a Western 8ft uni mount on it. We fabbed the truckside mount ourselves. It was a real PITA! There is very little to attach anything to under the front of those things and what there is is very hard to get to-all kinds of "stuff" in the way. Ours was an older model and had positive ground which makes it tough for wiring-we ran our headlights seperate from the plow's wiring.
Just go w/ the Sno-way; alot less headaches to install something thats made for the truck.:dizzy:

Snoway no longer makes set ups for cabovers. My 2003 npr hd diesel is set up with a 9' snoway, dealer installed plow. If you search my posts you will find pictures. The isuzu will plow very well if you run good rubber, ample weight in the body & plow smart. A snoway plow is the way to go as the downpressure will prevent you from loosing traction in a dicey situation. Snoway or no way if you want a cabover to plow really well.
