I want to get a plow for my 2004 Dodge 4x4 dually. The only thing i really want is to get a plow set up that when you take the plow off, you dont see the truck mount hanging 5 ft below the truck. Any suggestions

I like the blizzard myself, but fisher is normally good with not being able to see much of the mount.

Fisher kinda pioneered low profile mounts.

Do it right the first time, go Boss. With a dually get a 9'2" Vee.

That must be one big Dodge to have a mount 5 ft below it.

    Just kiddin.....

What kind of plowing are you doing? Commercial or Personal?

Curtis has the cleanest, most inconspicuous mount, by far.

If you don't want to see the mount then I would get a Fisher.

How about a SnowSport. They mount on a front receiver hitch.

    i have a 04 ram 2500 srw
if i was going to buy a new plow i would purchase the western pro-plus
    with factory wings.
the plow is really over built and everthing comes off

Western and Fisher are both owned by same parent corp and both a well built and strudy units. You might check out Curtis too and they make a nice Vee plow too.

Around here, Fisher, Meyer, Western and Boss are all major players in that order with very few Blizzards to be seen.

Curtis does offer a clean mount By I am not sure of there reliability. Fisher's MM2 mount's are really nice. And there is a optional brush gaurd you can install that looks real good. At least in my opinion. You have choice's from th HD 8'6" or 9', The EZ-V 8'6" or 9'6", If you are doing heavy commercial plowing check into the X-blade. the bracing is incredible and there availible in all steal or the Stainless steel model with all bracing and mounts powder coated. You can put wings on any of the staight blade's. Happy plowing and be safe!! Check out there web site - www.fisherplows.com :)
