I decided to Build a safety rack to protect my cab because I am always Hauling stuff, plus I think the look cool. It took me and my dad about a day an a half to build. It didn't cost me anything because my dad had the steel tubing and I got some mesh off my Uncle. I took a ton of pictures:

yea i built mine to be able to tie stuff down to. also designed to fit that lightbar perfectly.

also i think its time for a new welder. lol. jk. if you do decide to get one look at miller welders thats what we have. all of our stuff is miller. we have a miller mig and tig and plasma cutter. stuff is real nice but really expensive. that hobart is a nice one also.

Nice job! Good way to use whatever materials you have around. Good luck with it:drinkup:

We didn't get much maybe inch inch and a half, we had a tone of wind, so in some places it was ust a dusting, others there was 3-4 inches
Originally I built mine with J Bolts, then I decided to just use the tie downs

That is some good fabricating! I want one of those for my truck but don't want to spend the money on it yet. My F-350 in a few years when I get it will have one though.

I prefer the safety racks. You can put more lights on a back rack. But I like the look of safety racks better
    Thanks
