From the looks of it, he started with an 8 or 8.5 foot meyer, then cut an old plow apart and welded them as "wings" to the original plow, thus creating the custom 10 footer!!! Mine is 9 and a half feet with the wings on. But that looks like a sturdy set up!!!! And I love the truck as well Mike:nod:

It is a heavily modified meyer! Shouldnt even be allowed to be called a meyer! 6 inch channel was added to the back of it and every thing was weld. No more 2 inch long welds on it! 25 pounds of weld wire went in to it. Monarch pump system is in the shop but not on it yet! That is a modified E60 on it. A friend of mine at Dover Hydo did the mods and not sure what he did but it works so much better but it goes through motors!

Your right! It was 2 meyer 7.5st. Cut up a perfectly good blade to make mine. The setup is heavy! Was going to add a spring but it never trips bad though so I have scratched that idea for know!

How do those wings act when the blade trips?

Rubber edges on the wings keep it from lifting the steel cutting edge off the ground. Those thick rubber edges are nice they cutt through hard pack snow. I dont know why they do but they do! The wings are not at two much angle so they dont stick to far out in front of the blade.
