Im looking to add some extensions to my 8ft box for next year and was wondering if anybody has and pictures or input on the best way to add them. Im not looking to gain a lot more material just trying to keep it in the salter.

i used 1x12" lumber and ss screws to the outside lip. also used some caulking on the inside. i dont think the grates will come open this way, but i've never opened them anyway.

    Thanks

How did you faster the lumber to the top of the hopper? Did you leave your grate on top of the metal or did you move it up to on top of the lumber?

    Thanks
