Picking it up

    Obviously, I don't have enough work to do today. This is from about 6-7 years ago on one of the road contracts we had that included plowing the snow and then hauling it to a snow dump. That's a Sicard Senior, capacity about 1,200 tons per hour.

    No, sold it a few years ago. It was a 1978 LN800 with a 479 gas engine. You had to own a gas station to keep it fed, especially compared to the diesels.

    Ya, a gas engine in a truck like that would suck. My uncle has a 1974 L8000 and it use to have a gas engine in it but, over the years somebody converted it to a diesel.
