Boy this is good news for departments in the boonies! Get ready boys and girls, Uncle Eddie Rendell has decided that there is no longer a need to contract out snow plowing for state roads. They are currently evaluating what roads will be classified as primary/vital roads. This should up everyone's call volumes if it is a snowy winter-where will the 1st demolition derby be? This uninformed decision on the governers part will really suck during the big storms when all of the equipment is pulled to keep the interstates open. Although on the other hand it will actually make the county road department look like they are doing a better job
