pay rates in mass

    i plow in chelmsford mass and make 50.00 per hr for my truck (dodge ram 1500 8' blade)
    is that a decent rate ive never plowed for anybody else so not sure what people are paying

    i get 74.10 and hour plus 8.00 an hour for fuel so that total 82.10 an hour
    this is for my f-350 (srw) diesel with 8ft stright blade.
    i plow for a town near franklin

    its for town of wrentham ma
    did 23 hours for them over the weekend alone

    Thats not a bad rate for a condo place. Not to much driving. Most towns will not hire a 1/2 ton truck. If you were doing huge parking lots you may get more but thats resonable.

    big place though 8 buildings 5 parking lots and quite a bit of road ,they deffinetly get their money worth out of me

    I definetly wouldnt say they are over paying you. Most towns around here are at least 75 per hour but most require a 3/4 ton I beleive.
