2015 F250. On previous trucks I could pop the wipers off and reseat them where I wanted. This one has a keyed slot so I can't. Anyone have a trick for this?

Do you want to park them up higher so the defroster melts any snow or ice build up.

    That's the plan.

You can't turn the individual wiper on its spindle, but if you open up the cover to get at the motor, Cant you turn the whole drive assembly on the motor's shaft?

I was hoping for an easier way but I may have to give that a whirl.

They really need to add a defroster element along the bottom of these windshields

Get a set of heated wipers.

It might be time. Do they help with the ice build up on the windshield too?
I've bought stick on heater strips before and they did work, but the driver side wiper drops down below the dash and they wouldn't do much good.

I bought a set of thermal blades on amazon this fall for my 2011.
They're amazing and make a huge difference. No ice build up at all on them. There is still ice below them but it doesn't affect the windshield at all.
Best money I've spent on my truck.

Ok. That's all it took. One good review.

I bought a set of ever blades from their website.
Can't really comment on them as I've only had them on for about a week and we haven't had a significant snowfall

Did you buy the regular ones or the extreme?

I ordered the regular ones. Just hopped on Amazon and ordered the first ones I came across.
I did check out their website after and see the extremes are out of stock anyways.

Mine are thermal blades off Amazon for like 150. I liked them because they run off a thermostat so when it is below 36 they're on. Never realized how much I spent cleaning them off before, especially on the roads I plow.
    Install was wicked easy too.

    I'd prefer a heated windshield.
