over heating with plow on

    I have a early 90s chevy and a late 90s dodge they both over heat with the plows on at highway speeds not when plowing or driving around town or with the plow off i changed both thermostat already whats next?

    Angle the plow when driving with it on. Or take it off when not snowing.

    Add a deflector if you dont already have one. Has fixed many an overheat issue on older plow rigs

    try the fan clutch,,see if you can get a bigger fan....i.e. more blades. if those dont work,no express way driving for you

    i heard to lower the plow a few inches while driving on the highway

    i have tried angeling it and lowered it to already I will have to try the fan next thanks

    K. It might not totally help tho. Just an fyi
