I dump mine into a lean-to and cover it with a blue tarp and used tires. It stays very dry.

I built a shed that'll hold 3-4 yards and covered the front with a heavy tarp:

    salt storage

We use a coverall building. Mafia block walls and concrete floor. We can store 110 tons. Our goal is to keep it full. We can drive in backhoe loader hit the walls and not hurt a thing. Cost a bunch but ya can keep a lot of salt dry.
