    Here are the reasons I went with these;

    1) total price for these from start to finish $30k
    pole building 40x60 just the building $40k

    2) tax savings these are considered a temporary structue no property tax

    3) no need for lighting during the day save $

    4) roof replacement after 15 yr warrenty $1300.00 for both

    How easy are these to heat? Does not seem like there is a good way to insulate them.

    a torpedo heater or two while your working in them wouldnt be bad at all. no need to heat 24/7

    I agree with the torpedo heaters, but it is nice to have a heated shop to wash equipment ect. I assume since they are considered temporary structures, you cannot concrete the shop? To me the ability to concrete, add floor drains, insulate it and have office space in a post frame building would be enough to build one that way and just use the hoop style for salt. All that aside the buildings look good and I am sure they will suit your needs perfectly.
