Orifice Size?

There has been much discussion here on PlowSite.com about Snoways being slow. I also find that my 22 Series plow is rather slow at raising and lowering. Will opening up the orifice, like suggested in other posts, change the speed of travel for both raise and lower? Angling seems very quick, but the raising and lowering leave a bit to be desired. If drilling out the orifice will increase the speed at which the plow raises, what is a good size to start with on the 22 Series? The down pressure plow was installed in December of 2007 and the fluid has been replaced each season with Snoway fluid.
