I am new to this site and am looking for some advice, I have a sno-way 2590 on a Ford F150. The truck got wrecked this summer and I was wondering if I can put this plow on a 1999 Dodge 3/4 Ton Diesel (Sport)? I believe this plow was purchased in 1996 and I have had no problems with it. I would need to buy a new mount and wiring kit I'm sure but I don't really want to buy a complete new set up. I was told that this would be kind of a small plow for the truck. I would appreciate any advice.

    Thanks In advance.

    Scott,

Yes the plow could be put on the 99 Dodge without any issue. You would need to purchase a new subframe for the Dodge and harnesses for the light kit if the plow has lights. The part # for the subframe you will require is #99100465. If you need the harnesses for the lights they are #99100197 and adapter #99100206. If you need assistance in locating a dealer log onto our website http://www.snoway.com .

Confirm whether or not your truck is a sport model. If it is you will need the 99100395 adapter.

Thanks Basher I missed the Sport part when reading the thread. It's amazing how the eyes can fail one by weeks end. :dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy:

I'm not sure they made a sport model diesel.

I am running the same generation of Sno Way on my 96 Ram CTD, I am going to add the Timbren's to the front end as there is enough weight from the diesel and the bracket hangs down low enough I can groove asphault under hard braking. My blade is 8' and looks absolutely tiny on the front of my truck due to the height of the blade and the size of the truck. I am running 650# of ballast in my bed directly behind the tailgate which helps a little but it still can't compare to my International.
